Qualifications

I started as a Claims Adjuster out of College working for an Insurance Co. Then I became a Sr. Adjuster, Manager and rose in the ranks to a Reg. Assistant VP of Claims in ten years. I was hired away from Claims to become the VP of a Large Restoration Contracting office. A few years later I started my own company in 2002 and have had as many as three offices operating at once producing $7,000,000 in revenue. I began doing Appraisal and Expert Witness work over 14 years ago and have made that more of my work than ever before each passing year. I enjoy the work which utilizes my knowledge and years of training both in Claims and in the Restoration field. I’ve held a General Contractors license for 24 years now and have Specialized training in Fire, Smoke Damage, Water, Wind, Vehicle, Mold, Bio-Hazard and Trauma Clean-up losses and have worked on multi-million dollar projects. I am also a Large Loss Property Damage Consultant with work done in 10 states including FL, WI, TX, UT, IA, OR.

I have taught CE classes for Agents and Adjusters and spoken to Home Builders Groups on modifying their current methods for building with todays ever changing building materials to prevent Water and Mold damages during the building process. I have written an article for publication and presented on “How to Identify Contractor Fraud”. In addition, I own a Properties Holding company for my own Real Estate Assets, Rehabbed and flipped or held properties and have assisted on cases where properties in current or damaged conditions needs a valuation. As a result, I can address issues such as Diminution of Value or Total Loss and what might cause a property to be declared a Total Loss among other issues.

I have been qualified as an Expert Witness in prior cases and have testified in Deposition and at Trial.

August 2023 to current  - Owner of CPR+ a Remediation, Restoration and Remodeling Contracting firm specializing in repair of Fire, Water, Wind, Mold, Trauma and Storm losses of a catastrophic nature. Management oversight in all aspects of day-to-day operations including Estimating and Project Management for our operation. This includes Remodeling, Public Speaking, responding to Media Inquiries and all government compliance. We work with all forms of Properties including Maintenance programs for Commercial Buildings, Apartment Owners, Property Managers, Facilities Management and more.

July 2002 to August 2023 – Principal Owner/President of EA Restoration llc dba Certified Professional Restoration in Appleton, WI; EA New llc in Green Bay serving Northeast, WI and Everett Foytik llc in Stevens Point, WI serving Central WI. Equity Partner in EA Properties, LLC a WI Property Holding Co.

2010 to current  - Owner/Principal in everett associates, llc a Property Damage and Large Loss – Expert Witness and Property Consulting Firm. I taught CE classes for Insurance Agents/Adjusters, Landlords and Property Owners on Fire, Water, Wind, Mold and more on how to select a contractor, identify concerns and how to review estimates, verify damages and reference checks. I am also a past Vice President of the Business Recovery Planners of Southeast Wisconsin a group specializing in Business Continuity planning.
